Enjoy all five senses during Edison Price Lighting’s annual dinner, hosted just across from Philadelphia’s Independence Hall. See your colleagues over cocktails, smell and taste a scrumptious dinner, touch our latest lighting solutions, and hear a captivating keynote presentation.
This year's keynote presentation is DESIGN FOR THE SENSES
Vision is the foundation for lighting design, but what about the four other senses? Smell, hearing, taste, and touch create a more enriching, engaging design. Join us for an active sensory exploration and learn how all five senses inspire design.
The keynote topic is presented by Ellen Lupton, a writer, curator, educator, and designer. Ellen is founding director of MICA's Graphic Design MFA Program, and is the Senior Curator of Contemporary Design at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum (illuminated by Edison Price Lighting). She has published numerous books on design, most recently, “The Senses: Design Beyond Vision.”
