Call for Artists

Please note: The Gallery is no longer accepting submissions. Thank you for your interest! Please join REFRACTION's opening reception on Thursday evening, January 12.

An Open Call to artists working in the field of lighting...

Lighting designers, architects, engineers, and all inspired by light are encouraged to submit artwork for the Edison Price Lighting Gallery's upcoming show. In January 2017, the Edison Price Lighting Gallery will be expanding the current LIGHT INSPIRED exhibition.

The new show, REFRACTION, explores light as a single source of inspiration, refracting into different expressions through different mediums. The result is a complex, multi-dimensional study of light.

Please send a description or photograph of your artwork to gallery@epl.com by September 16th, 2016. All mediums are welcome. Lighting should relate to your work, but need not be the principal focus.

Watch light at play in Carlos Inclán's 'Slices of Bubbles' installation.

The Edison Price Lighting Gallery is located in Long Island City (LIC), NYC, an active arts community. It is illuminated by Edison Price Lighting's luminaires, demonstrating various lighting techniques. The Gallery is a celebration of light, both in the artwork it exhibits and the attention it gives to luminaires and lighting design.
